We continue to explore ways to grow our faith in the new year through this series “Running the Race”. In the 11th chapter of the book of Hebrews we find a list of people from long ago who continue to serve as examples of faith for us today. Today we survey the faith stories of the descendants of Abraham and explore the power of their words. Our faith can have a dramatic effect on those around us, but it can also be diminished by the words we use.

Happy New Year! Turning the page of the calendar sounds easy in theory, but it can be tricky in practice. The past can be sticky and getting stuck can make moving forward impossible.
