Part 4 of the New Year sermon series:
Wise People Still Seek Him “Desperate Times...”
Mark 5:21-34
Pain, what do we do with it? What does it do to us? Part of our shared human experience is that we all must deal with pain from time to time; physical, emotional, relational or spiritual. Wise People Still Seek Him Matthew 2:1-12
Happy New Year! We have a clean slate as the calendar turns, but so what? Will it be different, can we really make lasting changes, could God do something extraordinary in the 12 months ahead? Many don’t bother with making resolutions since we’ve broken most that we’ve attempted in the past, but perhaps this year we take steps to draw closer to Jesus. Resolution or not, we can choose to seek Him more intentionally this year, not quit if we make a misstep and make room for God to make 2019 something special for us. Like the Magi of ancient times, it begins by getting started with small steps in the right direction.
