Optimists tend to see the unknown of the future through excitement lenses because, “who knows what might happen!” Pessimists tend to see the unknown of the future through anxious lenses because, well, “who knows what might happen!” As followers of Jesus we are invited to step into the new year expectantly and prayerfully with the One who already knows what will happen.

During these (4) weeks leading up to Christmas, we'll look at other gifts, the ones God gave/gives to us in Christmas. Christmas is truly about Love; God's love for the world (you and me) and the gift He offers out of Love. It is the Christmas love that heals us and reveals the purpose we were created for.

Sadness rooted in the disappointment we suffer in life can erode our sense of well-being and joy. We might find short term fixes, that feel good for a while, but nothing lasts. The Joy that Jesus brings is the antidote to gloom we often endure.
