(The struggle for Oneness) Genesis 3 

Much of the book of Genesis is focused on a family, and families can be messy. To its credit, the Bible does not sanitize the characters we will encounter into role models of perfection; rather there is an authentic ring to them because they were imperfect as we are. And if they were imperfect people that God used to impact the world, could God not also intend to affect the world through us. We look at the Bible’s first family, to see God’s plan for their unity and the struggle with forces that divide.
