Only Jesus (part 5) “Out of the box” Matthew 12:9-14 

 

The Gospels tell an amazing story, intended not just to inform, but to transform. As we approach the celebration of Easter we will investigate a number of encounters with Jesus contained in the Gospel of Matthew. These stories will not only reveal the purpose of Jesus’ life, but also expose the pattern and power for our lives as well. We will discover what it means to walk with Jesus, to live more like Jesus and to reflect more of Jesus.  Jesus often seemed out of step with the religious culture and expectations of his day.  Where in the church today has the desire for our comfort eclipsed our desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus?
