Isaiah 9:6‐7 

During the weeks leading up to Christmas (the season we call Advent) we enter a 􏰀time of waiti􏰀ng expectantly for the celebra􏰀tion of Christ’s birth. For centuries before the birth of Jesus, there had been a growing expectati􏰀on that one day the Savior would come, but “when would He come?”; “why would He come?”; and “what would He do/bring?” were sti􏰀ll to be answered. In these weeks we will look at the Old Testament expectati􏰀ons that Jesus fulfills and the blessings we receive. Today we’ll consider the peace of Christ and how to hold onto it during this 􏰀me of year.
