Shocking those who knew Him, offending those who thought they did, Jesus repeatedly proved that His “ways are not our ways.” In Mark 6 we confront the familiar story of Jesus feeding a hug crowd, but it’s that familiarity that keeps us from learning the key lesson of the story which is Jesus is enough. It is a reminder that He works best when the challenges we face are greater than the resources we have to meet them.
